- have a good command of English and
- have received, or are expected to have received a Bachelor's degree from the National Institution for Academic Degrees and University Evaluation. or
- have completed, or be expected to complete 16 years formal study in a foreign country or
- have graduated, or be expected to graduate from Japanese University or college or
- have a degree equivalent of a university graduate as recognized by the Graduate School of Science and Technology at Kwansei Gakuin University.
