Shinsuke organizes the 10th Japan-Taiwan International Symposium and Summer Camp on Raman Spectroscopy with Prof. Hideaki Kano (Keio University). Yota, Hayato, Yui, Chiharu give poster presentations at the Summer Camp.
Shinsuke attended the 22nd International Conference on Time-Resolved Vibrational Spectroscopy (TRVS 2025) as a member of the local organizing committee, and gave a poster presentation.
Our group website has been renewed!
Our paper on Nanako's work was accepted for publication in Applied and Environmental Microbiology! We demonstrated single-cell pigment analysis of model phototrophic bacteria and phyllosphere microbes using simultaneous detection of resonance Raman and autofluorescence spectra.
AY 2025 started with Dr. Erwan Darussalam and 5 undergraduate students joining the lab. Welcome!
Our paper on Nodoka's work was published online in Journal of Raman Spectroscopy! We showed that learning single-cell Raman data acquired from at least two distinctly different growth phases significantly increases the accuracy of bacterial species discrimination.
